are Bob Radl’s thoughts on the WR projections:
Andre
Johnson is the unanimous #1 WR as best I. can
tell.
Randy
Moss...14 touchdowns? I might cut him back a tad.
Larry
Fitzgerald... I have concerns with the QB play as you know. His stats will be
based on what Matt Leinart can accomplish at QB.
Calvin
Johnson… should be better this year in Detroit
but can he move back to the top five overall at WR? Stafford should be better
in his second year?
Sidney
Rice… tied to the return of Favre. No Favre then serious downgrade.
Hakeem
Nicks... could be huge this year; I see you tweaked his numbers a tad already.
Santana
Moss... not sure if the can be that good. Washington has a suspect O-line. The arrival
of McNabb is bound to help.
Devin
Hester... will Martz work wonders for 'Da Bears?
Dez Bryant… looks like the top rookie WR in Dallas with Romo and company. He has the talent.
Devin
Aromasodu… there is a great deal of talk about him
already. Some folks think he may pass Hester as the best WR for the Bears.
T.O…
tough call right now as he is without a team. Move up or down based on where he
lands.
Mohamed
Massaquoi... do not now
what to say with him at #45. Browns should be better if Delhomme
can have any kind of return to form.
Brian
Hartline may be the WR2 in Miami
over Davone Bess. We will have to watch this one
closely.
Overall,
I have always felt and learned that WR stats are so dependent on the flow of
the game plus the QB play. WRs with good or great QB produce better stats more
often than players with weaker casts.
